Tuesday - Blog Of The Moment

I think I'm having another small corner in my blog.

So I have this Bits & Pieces corner. Now I have another corner, named, Blog Of the Moment.

Check it out!

Basically, this corner is where I have fresh oven baked photos and post. To cut it short, it means I am blogging at the exact moment. Example: I snap a photo at 6pm then I straight away blog it here, let's say within 10 minutes or so. Er, oh gosh, I'm bad at explanation.

Anyhow, so here's my #1 Blog Of The Moment.

Captured just now.

*Notice she is wearing a wrong sized shoes! Hahaha...

She even try to wear it again when it slip off.

Such a clever girl lah :D

Freshly picked homegrown chilies! Mom and I planted these :) Didn't know it grew that fast!

Mom cooked soup bee hoon today. I ate two bowls of it. I wonder when will I lose some weight.

Thanks for the dinner!

Blog Of The Moment won't be post so often as I rarely have the sudden urge to blog at the exact moment.

Hari Kokurikulum '12!

Yeah, Hari Koko is back again :)

Hahaha I think this photo suits the first caption.

Geez. I don;t know how to start my sentences in this post... Shall I just let the photos do the talking first? After all, you guys don't like wordy post right? lol.

Uniform checking.

That morning was quite of a chaos for me. I had to get my hair tied into a bun, which I never do it before, I was having a bad hair day ugh. Despite joining marching for 4 years straight, I still have some difficulties with my uniform okay, my hair lah actually. I wanted it to look neat. We have to get ready in a flash to have our last and final practice. Oh and guess what, we were the first to step into the battle field. GO SCOUTS, it's now or never!

During our formation.

The moment our commander said, "Squad, keluar baris" was the best feeling ever. Every year I was really glad when I hear that sentence. All our hard work paid off, in my opinion. It was okay lah, we did try our best :)  I did my best, lol *slap face.

After the 'war', it was time to wander around the school! Yay. This year there was this thingy...

Nice..... But I think it's a quite a waste of money. You can't even walk like a hamster inside it.
You'll just end up falling falling falling...and falling, and one more thing...falling. yeah.

I did consider to play this because you can roll more freely instead of that small pool. *Run like a hamster.
But then, I changed my mind the moment I look inside the ball. It was a freakin' sauna! HOT LIKE CRAZY WEI. So terrifying. I don't want to be a roasted chicken.

So we just take some photos with the BIG BALL :)

Jia Xin!

Yours truly :D

My butt was feeling the heat -.-

Before this, we went to have some fun by playing some games that was prepared by the students. We went in to this War Game. So call war game lahh aiyoh. We were instructed to find red and white balls. Who find the most wins! At the same time you could use boxes and newspapers and other stuff to throw to your opponent.

It was a terrifying war. Especially when we're up against our good friend, Lim Voon Wei. IT WAS A NICE EXPERIENCE. I thought having Jia Xin on our side, we will be safe and protected. But even so, i was badly 'injured' lol. Even Chungjie counter attack me. Aiyohhh.

After the WAR. My team won despite being so badly injured by their best attacker, Voon Wei hahaha.

Photos taken that day.

Later on, the moment of truth came. It was time for the results! Nervous. Every year, we will be at the assembly open hall, waiting anxiously for the result.

This year, we got number 5. Kinda disappointed actually buth then I look the our performances again, it was quite messy lol. But hey! We got #1 for Johan Keseluruhan Perkhemahan Unit Beruniform :D You know what scouts do best la, camping! haha

Like we were the champions I tell you. Lol. Like we won the overall lol. We are one cute and funny troop.

Anyhow, congratulations to Kadet Bomba for winning this year's marching competition and winner of overall!
You guys deserve it!

Ending this post with a few more photos oklah two photos only actually.

Haha this photo looks...

If you notice, my hands have two tone already. Oh gosh.

Flu ah...

My title cannot get any more worse could it? Haha.

Been procrastinating in blogging recently. I wonder if anyone is out there still reading my blog. Hellloooooooo, anyone out there? lol. Anyways, yeah so I've been busy (I think I said that every time).
So much to do. So little time.
Okay I lied. I procrastinate only lah.

Apparently, I'm sick! I was infected by my little sister's flu. Yeah the girl in the photo up there. My friend said, "Yer you so weak one... Like that also kena baby infect already". *no face

Yesterday night, mom brought us for supper because she said she was hungry. She ate the most during dinner and yet she was the first to ask for supper, aiyoh mom. Mom and I have been chit-chatting and I asked her this question;

If you were given a chance to go back to the past, do you choose to be a emperor or a slave?
  Beijing Palace Museum, China

I have the idea of asking mom this question because I remembered a post from TimothyTiah's blog.

Mom said it without doubt, "Emperor lah of course!".

But then, I told her that many people wants to take over the kingdom and an emperor have many enemies. Wanting to kill the king and take over his throne. Even every dishes must be taste by someone first before the emperor eats. Just in case someone tries to put poison in his food. While a slave, they don't have to worry being poison or having counter attacks by enemies.

My mom then said, I still choose to be a emperor, along with her own point of view. A slave also live a dangerous life. They can have their heads chop off anytime. Let's say, they accidentally drop the emperor's cup of tea. "Off with his head!!!!" says the emperor. Mom said, so you see..both the emperor and slave are not much difference in who dies more easily. Although being an emperor can be poisoned or killed anytime, at least he get the luxury. Having to enjoy the luxury before die, not a bad choice eh?

But for a slave... Slave does hard work. A slave doesn't get to enjoy luxury like an emperor does. Only able to eat simple food, unlike the emperor who can have fish, abalone, bird's nest... And one thing is, an emperor is powerful. He can order anyone around. "Hey do this!", "Wash my feet", "I'm hungry, prepare dinner". A slave can't order people around, in fact, they have to do anything the emperor orders.

So yeah, I think I have to agree on mom's point of view.

Anyhow, I suddenly mention this thing because of this...

'GONG'. A china drama.

Yea..haha.

HOW I STEP UP WITH NUFFNANG!

Can the stick man dance? I would want to have a dance with him someday haha.

I can't believe it Nuffnang Premiere Screening of Step Up Revolution. Thumbs up babeh. All the best to everyone and here is how my post goes...

Flash mobs... ah...how I adore flash mobs. I always wanted to join flash mobs. So epic cool wei.
How would I organize my flash mob?
It's such a big question for me.

Hmm....

#1 Recruiting people
No people, no flash mob. So what's the point right? Therefore it's important to recruit people.
I shall have some professional dancers to lead the flash mob, together side by side with me, hand in hand, we'll make the flash mob a successful one! Wohoo....!!!! (okay I got excited)

#2 FLASHMOB THEME
A theme sets the whole dance steps and the type of choreography we're heading to. For example a K-Pop flash mob. So I'll be setting K-pop's hottest hits along with the signature dance moves like Sorry,Sorry from Super Junior. It was major hit! And the dance steps were so significant. Even toddlers can dance to it. I think I could recruit some toddlers into my flash mob wohoo. Toddlers will give the atmosphere a dash of cuteness  somehow :D

K-Pop Flash Mob in Brisbane! Ugh, my travel wish list!

#3 CHOICE OF VENUE
KLIA sounds nice :)

I remembered most bloggers was posting this video in their blog post. I first saw this video in Facebook and I was overwhelm by this. Malaysia...ahh...how awesome! It was a well executed flash mob which gives me a nice inner message :)
You see here, KLIA is such a good choice of venue. Tourists goes the airport and they were able to see this epic flashmob! Conclusion, the venue I'm going to consider must be big, famous and opened. Only with that, my flash mob will attract a huge crowd.

#4 Spreading the news!
I want the flash mob to be spread to every ears and eyes I could find. Publicity is essential, in my opinion. Share it on facebook. Share it on twitter. Share it in blogger. Or perhaps the best way, via Nuffnang. After all they are Asia's Pacific first blog advertising community right? Until certain level you still have to have Nuffnang because...
nuffnang rulez
"Yeah, Nuffnang RULEZ! Eat that!", -Kenwooi-

I should post the flash mob in Innit too because Kenwooi said that's how to get known.

#5 WORK THAT, SHAKE THAT
Go to practice regularly! Shake it! Practice makes perfect. Have everyone told you that?(they tell me every single times) Haha. With everyone's effort, we'll make it work :D
Just dance dance dance dance! Have fun! That was what flash mob was all about right?

Blogging all about flash mobs makes me want to shake my hips and let loose my itchy feet, aiyoh. Okay i have to rest now, it was quite nice posting a blog post related to Nuffnang. Hit the sack now if not my eyes will pop out! Ugh. Eye sight is getting poorer nowadays :/

To Remember

A few days ago, my best friend's dad have just passed away. It was a very shocking news indeed.

On the 5th of July, morning, my friend text me saying that she wasn't able to go to school as her there was an emergency about her dad. Told my friends in school about her absence, we all prayed for uncle to be safe and sound. After kawad practice, we decide to call her to ask what was her dad's condition. Just to make sure her dad and herself was alright. The three of us went to a nearby public phone and dialed her number.  Yee was the one who talked to her first. Voonwei and I just looked at her anxiously waiting for any response.
Out of sudden, Yee said "他爸爸去世了" with the most shocking expression ever. She held on to the phone and stared at us. I thought I heard wrongly. That wasn't the answer I was expecting, in fact, it wasn't what we expected at all! I could her Pei Ern's cry. Voonwei then took the phone and talked to Pei Ern but the only thing Voonwei could her was her cries. I didn't know what to do. Yee stood there numb still as she could not believe what she just heard. When Pei Ern was ready to speak, we ran out of coins, the call ended. We didn't have any coins anymore.

The three of us ran to the teacher's office to look for Miss Ong to borrow her phone. LOY was really worried :( We asked teacher if she could lend us her phone. We were really nervous. We didn't even know what to say if we called her, afraid of making her cry even more. So at last we choose to sms her. I texted her on behalf of LOY and hoped that she was alright. I think my hand shake when I was typing, not knowing to type what words and sentence.. Pei Ern, we were really worried. But then the recess bell rang, we had to get back in class. So teacher asked us to come back to see her after two periods to see Pei Ern's reply. We went back to class, distracted by the news that we still wondered if what Yee hear was right. We weren't paying attention at all. The only thing inside our mind was our friend, Pei Ern and her dad. Question marks were all over.

At 11.30am sharp, we ran into the teacher's office to see the reply. And then, we read it. It was real. Our hearts stop beating for a sec. Seriously. I can't believe. We can't believe it. Pei Ern text us that she was alright and thanks for the concern, her dad passed away this morning. Shocked. We went back in class. At that time, only the LOY and Miss Ong knew. We didn't plan of telling anyone because this was her privacy. She will tell it when she is ready. We sat at our places and stared for a moment. I tried to stay calm but inside my heart felt like a rock just smashed on it. Pei Ern, my best friend, I'm really sorry for the lost :( I thinked too much, and when I remembered her cries, I cried. I try to hid it but I couldn't. Voonwei saw it.

During BM class, Puan Ang asked about Pei Ern's dad. We lied to her as we promised not to tell anyone else first because it's Pei Ern's privacy. I'm sorry teacher, we are sorry. But later, Yee told teacher after getting Pei Ern's permission. I went home to make a phone call to Pei Ern when the school bell rang. I dialed her number and it rang, I was worried. She answered. I didn't know what to say. She cried. I cried. I felt really sad and worried that time.. I wanted to tell her to stay strong but I couldn't my tongue was tied up. I can't say it.

After lunch, I went back to school for kawad practice. I went there a little earlier so that I could tell them about Pei Ern's condition. By the time I reached there, Yee, Voonwei, CJ, Tif and Huamin were together, sitting on the round table at the front gate. I purposely brought my phone in case they wanted to talk to Pei Ern. When I sat down, Yee told me that they all knew already because Pei Ern didn't want to join kawad anymore and our commander knew the reason. I told them that I called Pei Ern to check her condition. As I tell them, Huamin asked me to stop cause she was about to cry. Then later I saw Yee's eyes watery, I saw Voonwei's face forcing herself to not cry, CJ face was all red, Tif was too. And soon I cried when I was telling them. I asked them if they want to call her. Voonwei called first. She wanted to talk to her alone. At first we all were more calm and not teary anymore but then I saw Voonwei eyes, red. I cried immediately. Voonwei said "你要坚强". She could say it, I couldn't. Yee and I were at the tembok there crying already. CJ also cried. Pipi and his friend stood nearby and stared at us, wondering why did we cried like hell. When Voonwei passed the phone to CJ, Yee saw her her crying. CJ talked to Pei Ern, she mistaken CJ for LCD lol. CJ replied back like, "我是ChungJie啦! 佩恩认不出我的声音啊!!!", with his eyes teary. Yee and I were hugging each other crying. Next was Tif, she talked to her alone too. Voonwei was there squatting down covering her face. Then it was Yee's turn. Yee kept saying "谁有黑眼睛我见不到人啊", wiping her tears. Then, I told Pei Ern, “佩恩,坚强啊坚强啊!”.
We ended the phone call by saying "Take care". Withing the conversations, we were crying and laughing at the same time. Trying to make her cheer up and laugh. When the call ended, we cried even more. There were so many people there, they could see that we were crying. I don't even care if there were people there.

Wiped our tears and stay calmed. I took a deep breathe in and out to stay calm. My eyes were red. Their was quite normal already. Yee's eyes was small only. CJ ears were red. Tif face maintained okay. Voonwei's too. My expression was obvious. We saw Xin Ru sitting there and said Hi to her. Chatting like normal. Then suddenly she asked, "Ah Yee why your eye so red?!". Yee said, "Something got into my eye!".
Then she asked me, "Pris, why your eye so red?". I said, "Ya meh?!".

On Friday, we decided to go to her dad's funeral. The five of us, Voonwei, Yee, CJ and Tif and myself. At first some of our classmates were going as well but due to some reasons they can't go later. We're very nervous actually. Thanks to my dad for fetching us there. It was my first time going to a funeral. I was very cautious of the Chinese customs. I don't want to offend anything. So we asked people around to know what should we do in a funeral.

Once we reach there, my heart was pounding. I can't wait to see my best friend, I can't wait to hug her, wanting to know that she is alright. I saw her there, doing some Buddha chanting. I saw her mom and greet her. Aunty lite some Chinese joss sticks for us to pray. Later we gave 白金. Pei Ern came towards us after she finish her chanting, teary eyes. Tif hugged her first then I hugged her. I hugged her so tight, I remembered. I cried behind. She didn't know. I wiped it fast before she could see it. Voonwei and Ye asked me not to cry because we have to be stronger for her to endure this. If she saw us crying, she will sure cry then. We chatted. Goof around. I try not to mention any thing sad. I ate alot lol. We even have a small peanut eating competition. Yee won, Vw 2nd, Cj 3rd, Tif 4th, I last lol. We try to make her laugh ;D Teased Tif and her new NONO lol. That made Pei Ern laughed haha.

Around 10.30pm, we went home. Sad to leave. Gave her a very big hug. Voonwei hugged someone for the first time. Making me and Yee envious lol. Pei Ern, you got Voonwei's first hug! :D I hugged her so many times. Yee face was so red whenever she sees Pei Ern. I also don't know why. Macam Pei Ern is her idol, she got shy lol. Hope to see our best friend soon again :)

Last night, I read tweets from Pei Ern. I went emotional. I wanted to cal her but there was no answer. I wanted to talk to her so badly and hug her. I called Yee then. We talked. We cried. Damnit, I can cry very easily. I was worry about my best friend. Just like Voonwei tweeted, "Everytime she say she's fine, I feel so pain". It's true. We LOY feel it. And last night we all cried. Yee and I salute Voonwei for being so strong. She can force herself not to cry. I am the weakest I guess. I cry very easily.

Yee and I talked alot last night. Family mainly.
Family is very important. We all know how family is important to us. That's why we must cherish every moment together. Dad always tell me, "There are moments in ever stage of life. Don't think about the future. Think about now. So now we all are together, so cherish the time we have now. Right here, right now".
And last night, mom and dad told me about giving birth. A mother sacrifice her life to give birth to her baby. Sometimes, a mother will die during the giving birth process. That's why it's important to love your parents. Mom used 10 bags of blood when she gave birth to Apple. That's a lot of blood. That is the reason why, people always say, a mother's sacrifices are irreplaceable.

Seems like I type so much in this post. This post mainly goes to my best friends, LOLY.
Together we stand, together we laugh, together we cry, together we bian tai(lol) and together we support each other. I LOVE YOU!
